Our online support group is a closed (private) Facebook group intended to be an open discussion for women to seek and offer support to one another. It is a judgement-free zone, where women are invited to open up about issues they may not feel comfortable sharing elsewhere.
The point of the group is to form a support system of women who understand struggle. Women who can relate to each other simply because they’ve had challenging life experiences, and they’ve gotten through them. When people open up and share with one another about things they have gone through, others are helped just by listening. You are not alone. None of us are.
I believe in the closed group because of the women in it. I believe in it because it helps me. I believe in it because I have been contacted by so many women in the group whose words you can read below. It truly has changed my life having a space to go and feel un-questionably supported by other women.
“I LOVE the group you made, thank you for pouring your heart into this amazing community. 🙏🏻💜 I have been searching for my words…one of these days I will share a post, but in the meantime I find solace in hearing other stories. I know each is different, but the survivalism and strength that they embody, is the same. Motherhood is gorgeous and insane, in all of the ways of those words. I have never felt so alone or isolated, and Empower our sisters helps me see that I’m not actually alone in most of what I feel…”
“I’m so glad that this group is here for you me and everyone else who needs the support. ️”
“Thank you for your undying courage to keep sharing and growing. I always say this, I have not shared on here much (YET) but I see you. I see all of you and this page has given me a whole lotta life since I joined.”
“You have no idea how much I admire you and how proud I am of you for starting this organization. You have provided a tremendous opportunity for many women, including myself, to feel supported and ultimately empowered…”
“…I cant thank you ladies enough for creating this group and you personally for always giving me a gentle push to step outside of my comfort zone. Sending so much love your way…”
